REPOWERING
Repowering involves upgrading wind turbines after their initial operating cycle of approximately 10-20 years. The old turbines are replaced with newer, more modern, and more powerful models. Used wind turbines can also be refurbished, particularly the turbine blades. This renovation extends the operational life of the turbines, allowing them to serve effectively for a second cycle.
