Meaning of our company name

INIKTI comes from the Lithuanian word "įnikti", which means to start doing something with great dedication, focus, or enthusiasm; to fully immerse oneself in an activity. This word perfectly reflects our passion and commitment to renewable energy - we don’t just work in this industry, we are deeply invested in shaping its future.

Our story

At INIKTI, we live and breathe renewable energy. From wind and solar to battery storage and hybrid solutions, we provide end-to-end renewable energy services. We handle everything - from the first spark of an idea to fully operational energy parks. Our expertise covers project development, engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), transportation, maintenance, asset management, and real estate solutions for renewable projects worldwide. Whether it’s building new energy infrastructure or giving a second life to existing assets, we make sustainable energy a reality.

Where It All Began

This story begins in the 1990s, when a young teenager, Aivaras Stumbras, watched in admiration as his uncle, Algirdas Stumbras, a pioneer in the energy sector, shaped the future of power generation.

Algirdas Stumbras: A Legacy in Energy

Born in 1927 in Kaunas, Algirdas Stumbras dedicated over five decades to the energy industry. He began his career in 1944 as an emergency crew electrician at Kaunas Electrical Networks, later becoming a dispatcher, duty engineer, and a key figure in Lithuania’s electrification. His work helped shape the national energy sector, and his unwavering dedication left a deep impression on those around him - including his nephew, Aivaras.

Algirdas Stumbras is known as the father of Lithuanian energy.

Growing up under the mentorship of his uncle, Aivaras was drawn into the world of energy—not just as a family tradition, but as a calling. Energy was no longer just his uncle’s work—it became his passion, obsession, and dream.
Determined to carve his own path, Aivaras deepened his knowledge in theoretical energy studies and, in 2005, took his first steps into renewable energy projects. The foundation was laid, and by 2012, INIKTI was born—not just as a company, but as a mission to shape the future of sustainable energy.
